Kaieteur House does not charge a reading or application fee for standard book applications.
Ownership
The applicant keeps ownership of submitted material. Submission gives BrownGlobal Holdings LLC permission to store and review the material only for publishing consideration.
No agreement created
Submitting an application does not create a publishing agreement, agency relationship, confidentiality agreement, or promise of publication.
Original and authorized work
The applicant confirms they control the submitted material and have permission for included third-party text, images, interviews, and other content.
Applicants under 18
A parent or legal guardian must participate before BrownGlobal Holdings LLC enters a publishing agreement with an applicant under 18.
Similar ideas
Kaieteur House may receive or develop other projects with similar subjects, themes, titles, or ideas. Copyright protects expression, not a general idea.
